Grants Management
Our team manages the grants portfolios of dozens of nonprofit organizations year over year.
From growing the millions we raise to building grants pipelines from the ground up, our expert team gets results from this revenue stream that has become increasingly difficult to navigate. When we take care of grants for you, you can spend your time where it matters most–your mission, programs, and relationships.

Grants Management with AFG
How it Works
Vision Session + Materials Revamp
Through our collaborative onboarding process, we will compose a new language bank and refine your attachments to sharpen your entire proposal package.
Grants Pipeline Management
We keep track of deadlines and do all the writing, editing, and attachments preparation. You annotate and approve the final materials before we submit.
Prospecting and Cultivation
We provide ongoing prospect research and relationship management support with a continuous eye on growth.
“AFG are creative in identifying new funding opportunities and highly skilled at managing a multitude of proposals at once.

Choose From Two Formats
Engagement Style
Retainer Engagement
We'll evaluate the right capacity for your grants portfolio for a monthly retainer agreement for comprehensive grants management.
This engagement style includes:
the full execution of your grant proposal and report pipeline
biweekly meetings to keep projects on track
holistic support in funder cultivation and stewardship, including coaching for meetings and site visits
ongoing prospect research
Who is this for?
Nonprofits who submit 15+ proposals and reports annually, and desire a holistic strategy for institutional giving.
Project Engagement
We'll set a pipeline of up to 15 grants projects (letters of inquiry, proposals, and reports) to execute throughout your fiscal year.
This engagement style includes:
execution of each project in our established project list, and insights into those funder relationships
meetings as needed to kick off, manage, and conclude each project
Who is this for?
Nonprofits with a modest grants portfolio, or in need of limited and targeted support.
What we do:
Customize language for each funder's unique needs–even if it means drafting fresh
Fully vet each funding opportunity to ensure it's worth the time and resources to apply
Support the relationship strategy beyond the grant proposal for more competitive results
What we don’t do:
Write only from boilerplate with no custom text
Recommend projects for the pipeline with low/no-ROI
Let your funder relationships coast on autopilot
